Pointek to support 1,000 unemployed Nigerians through entrepreneurship training

Pointek, Nigeria’s leading retail store for technology products, has made public its plan to train 1,000 gadget technicians in order to bridge the unemployment gap in the country during a press conference held in Lagos on Tuesday, 7 May, 2019.

According to the Nigerian Bureau of Statistics (NBS), unemployment and underemployment rates in Q’3 2018 were 23.1 per cent and 20.1 per cent respectively, with global experts explaining that employment generation can be duly facilitated through small and medium scale businesses.
