The police also recovered one black Mercedes Benz ML 350 with Reg. No. EKY 964 DP, belonging to the victim, and one AK47 magazine loaded with eight rounds of ammunition.

It was learnt that the rescued victim raised the alarm that he had been kidnapped after the police sighted his vehicle at the junction.

The police image maker said, “The victim was rescued by the team. The victim said he was kidnapped at about 1850hrs of same date, at the entrance of his gate in Afisere road Ughelli.”
