Africa-Press – Nigeria. A move to curb medical tourism has prompted President Bola Tinubu to inaugurate a world-class multi-million-dollar hospital in Abuja.
The hospital is situated in Kabusa, a suburb in the nation’s capital.
Vice President Kashim Shettima commissioned the facility on behalf of the President on Thursday.
It was constructed under the African Medical Centre of Excellence, AMCE, with financial support from the Africa Export Import, AFREXIM, Bank.
According to the facilitators, the hospital will offer service in partnership with the King’s College Hospital London and other international healthcare providers.
It is equally projected to provide medical care for 350,000 patients in five years.
