Africa-Press – Nigeria. Infamous bandit leader Bello Turji reportedly sought reinforcements from seven allied commanders within his network but was met with rejection.

According to intelligence sources, Turji, under relentless pressure from continuous military offensives in the Northwest, reached out to the commanders for assistance in his fight against the advancing troops.

Zagazola Makama, an expert in counter-terrorism in lake Chad region, revealed, that the commanders refused his appeal, leaving Turji isolated. Their decision was reportedly influenced by fears that joining forces with him could expose them to the escalating military operations.
