Africa-Press – Nigeria. Unknown gunmen kidnapped 56-year-old Abdullahi Ibrahim, the village head of Kanaka in the Ganjuwa Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
The assailants attacked the remote village at around 1:15 a.m. on Thursday and abducted the traditional head of the village to an unknown destination.
Zagazola Makama reports that security agencies and local hunters are currently on the ground to locate and rescue the victim.
Authorities say intensive operations are ongoing, and the case remains under active police investigation.
