Africa-Press – Nigeria. The African Democratic Congress, ADC, has appealed to Hon. Inalegwu Ejembi to join its fold ahead of the 2027 general elections, expressing confidence in his capacity to offer effective representation.

ADC stakeholders from Okpokwu Local Government Area made the call during a weekend courtesy visit, pledging to rally grassroots support for Ejembi’s bid to represent the Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadigbo Federal Constituency.

Leading the delegation, Hon. Peter Abba, Chairman of the Edumoga Ehaja Central Working Committee, said the party’s ideals align with Ejembi’s vision.

He was accompanied by elder Mathias Oche, Hon. Emmanuel Ape, Hon. Peter Abraham Oko and Hon. Clement Agada.

The group described Ejembi as a credible, people-focused leader capable of advancing the constituency’s interests in the National Assembly.

Responding, Ejembi thanked the ADC team for the show of confidence, calling the visit a great honour. He reaffirmed his commitment to placing the welfare of his constituents above all else if elected.

“My political mission is simple to build a constituency where the welfare of the people is the highest priority,” Ejembi said.

DAILY POST recalls that this comes days after the ADC announced that more than 10,000 members from the APC, PDP, SDP and other parties defected to its ranks in Agatu Local Government Area.
