Africa-Press – Nigeria. The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has announced the sale of expression of interest forms across the country ahead of the 2027 general elections.
This was contained in a statement posted on its verified X handle on Tuesday.
According to the statement, female aspirants, youths, and aspirants with disabilities are required to pay for the expression of interest form and 50 per cent of the prescribed nomination fees for each position.
It stated that for the National Working Committee (NWC), existing zoning of offices in states across geopolitical zones subsists. State and senatorial executives’ congresses shall hold concurrently with state congresses.
The statement further noted that Ekiti, Osun, Rivers, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) are excluded from the ward, local government, and state congresses.
“They will, however, participate in the election of three delegates to the national convention.
“Filling of the forms shall be done online. Access to both the expression of interest and nomination forms shall be granted upon verification of payments and validation by the National Secretariat.
“All payments should be made in full directly into the designated bank accounts of the All Progressives Congress (APC),” the statement said.
