Fubara: Wike fighting for survival – APC Chieftain, Bekee

Africa-Press – Nigeria. A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Rivers State, Emeka Bekee has suggested that the Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, is currently “fighting for his survival” politically.

Bekee stated this on Wednesday while fielding questions on Arise Television’s Morning Show programme.

The statement comes amid the political rivalry between the FCT Minister Nyesom Wike and Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State.

“What I think Minister Nyesom Wike is doing now is he’s fighting for survival. He’s fighting for survival right now. Nothing more.”

This is even as the APC chieftain hinted during the interview that all the governors who recently defected to the APC might be given automatic tickets for their second term.

According to Bekee, Fubara wouldn’t be left out if the national leadership of the APC decides to give APC governors automatic ticket in 2027, insisting that nobody can deny Fubara his rights.
