Africa-Press – Nigeria. A chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC), in Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Dr. Usman Muhammad, on Saturday, condemned the attack on some of the party’s chieftains in Kaduna by suspected bandits.

DAILY POST recalls that some APC members, on their way from Kafanchan, on Thursday, after a political meeting with Christian leaders in the Southern Senatorial District, were attacked at Tashar, in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

They injured three persons, while two others were kidnapped.

Reacting to the incident on Saturday, Mohammed described the attack as heartless and inhuman.

According to him, the State was no longer safe.

He noted that some disgruntled elements were frustrating the efforts by security agents and the State government to get rid of criminals in the State.

He begged the security operatives in the State to beef up security aimed at rescuing the abducted victims

Three persons sustained gun injuries, while two others were kidnapped.

DSP Mohammed Jalige, the State Police Public Relations Officer, when contacted, promised to call back after getting details of the incident.
