Africa-Press – Nigeria. A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Jigawa State, Danladi Auyo, has dumped the party and joined the New Nigeria People’s Party.

NNPP State Auditor and former Special Assistant on Media to Gov. Sule Lamido, Muhammad Lawan Kazaure, disclosed this in an interview with DAILY POST.

He said the APC chieftain joined the NNPP along with his supporters.

Kazaure noted that the door is open for every meaningful person who wishes good for the country.

DAILY POST reported that the APC in Auyo Local Government had suspended Auyo for six months over alleged sabotage.

He was suspended for allegedly attacking Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar’s policies and programs on a radio program.

He was Governor Muhammad Badaru’s running mate in 2011 under the Action Congress of Nigeria.

He later joined the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2015 general election before he decamped to the ruling APC.
