Africa-Press – Nigeria. Hundreds of residents of Oyo State on Saturday trooped out en masse to vote for presidential and national assembly candidates of their choice.

The residents came out in large numbers in most of the polling units in three local government areas in the Ibadan metropolis.

It was observed that electoral materials did not arrive on time in some of the polling units due to the failure of the electoral officials to arrive on time.

This caused a delay in the commencement of voting, which was slated for 8:30 am according to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
