Africa-Press – Nigeria. Lucky Aiyedatiwa is set to be sworn in as the substantive executive Governor of Ondo State following Governor Rotimi Akeredolu’s demise.
As of the time of filing this report, Aiyedatiwa has arrived at the Governor’s Office for his swearing-in-ceremony in Akure, Ondo State Capital.
Akeredolu died at age 67 in Germany in the early hours of Wednesday.
Recall that on December 12, the late governor handed over power to Aiyedatiwa after he embarked on another medical leave.
