Africa-Press – Nigeria. Former presidential media aide, Bashir Ahmad, has condemned the deadly terror attack on a Kebbi Mosque.
Suspected Lakurawa terrorists launched an attack on a mosque in the Dadin-Kowa community in Maiyama Local Government Area of Kebbi State, killing several residents.
Sources also revealed that several persons were also injured in that attack that was carried out during Taraweeh prayers.
Reacting, Bashir Ahmad in a post on his official Facebook page, described the incident as deeply troubling and unacceptable.
He wrote, “The repeated attacks by the Lakurawa terrorists on innocent civilians are deeply troubling and unacceptable.
“They stormed a mosque last night in Kebbi and killed worshippers during this blessed month of Ramadan.
“These senseless attacks must be strongly condemned in the strongest terms by all and our authorities must act decisively to protect lives and restore peace.”
