Africa-Press – Nigeria. The chairman of the Ekiti State chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Olatunde Kolapo, has directed the leadership of all affiliate unions in the state to ensure full compliance with the national strike as directed by the national body of NLC.
Kolapo, in a statement made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti, noted that any affiliate union that fails to comply with the directive will be treated as a saboteur.
The NLC Chairman directed that all workers should stay back home until further directives from the national body.
He called on all leaders of affiliate unions to meet at the NLC secretariat by eight o’clock on Monday morning for monitoring of the exercise.
