Kaduna Government debunks El-Rufai’s claim on projects commissioned by President Tinubu

Africa-Press – Nigeria. The Kaduna State Government has debunked a widely publicised claim by former governor Nasir El-Rufai that all the recently commissioned projects in the state by President Ahmed Bola Tinubu were initiated by him.

In a press statement issued by Ibraheem Musa, chief press secretary to the governor, the government refuted the claims, stating that the youth-friendly projects were in fact initiated by Governor Uba Sani.

The statement, titled “El-Rufai and his litany of lies”, described the claim as not only misleading but a blatant distortion of the truth.

Stating that it is imperative to set the record straight, the statement added that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu commissioned three major projects: institutes of vocational training and skills development, the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Specialist Hospital, Kaduna, and 100 compressed natural gas, CNG, buses.

According to the statement, “The three institutes of vocational training and skills development were fully initiated and completed by the administration of Governor Uba Sani.

“These include Abdulkadir Balarabe Musa Institute, Rigachikun; Col. Dangiwa Umar Institute, Soba; and Sir Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa Institute, Samaru Kataf.

“These institutes are pivotal to Governor Uba Sani’s human capital development agenda, designed to equip Kaduna’s youth with practical, future-ready skills.”
