Africa-Press – Nigeria. Following credible intelligence received, the Nigerian Air Force, NAF, under Operation Hadin Kai, struck key Boko Haram hideouts at Tumbumma Baba and Chiralia in southern Tumbuns, Borno State.

Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Director of Public Relations and Information, Headquarters, Nigerian Air Force, stated this in a statement, adding that, “acting on credible intelligence, NAF aircraft targeted terrorist structures reportedly used for storage and coordination, delivering direct hits and crippling planned attacks aimed at disrupting Eid celebrations.”

According to the statement, the airstrike neutralised several terrorists and destroyed key logistics structures during the operation.

“This pre-emptive action,” according to Ejodame, “underscores the Nigerian Air Force’s commitment to safeguarding civilian lives and supporting national security objectives.”
