Africa-Press – Nigeria. The State Commander, of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency in Ogun State, CN Tijjani Rabe, has exhorted newly promoted officers of the command to uphold the highest standards of conduct and to prioritize their personal and professional growth.
The Commander of Narcotics gave the charge during the decoration of the 58 newly promoted officers on Tuesday, at the Command’s headquarters, Abeokuta.
the decorated officers comprise of 17 Senior Narcotic Agents (SNA), 19 Chief Narcotic Agents (CNA), 9 Assistant Superintendents of Narcotics II (ASN II) and 13 Assistant Superintendents of Narcotics I (ASN I).
Speaking at the event, Rabe reminded the officers of the seriousness of the duties that come with their higher positions and emphasized that the insignia they currently wear is a physical symbol of their steadfast dedication to excellence, integrity, and service.
He emphasized that as they represent the greatest levels of professionalism and leadership, it is essential that they uphold their values in every facet of their work.
Commander Rabe urged them to seek out chances for education, training, and self-development that will improve their abilities and knowledge, stressing that they must realize that constant growth is necessary for peak performance and leadership.
According to him, investing in their own growth will make them become more effective not only in their roles, but also set a compelling example for those they lead and serve, fostering a culture of excellence and inspiring others to strive for similar heights of achievement.
Delivering his goodwill message, the State Commissioner, for Youth and Sports Development, Wasiu Isiaka, congratulated the newly decorated officers and commended the Ogun State Command of the NDLEA for its sustained efforts in combating drug abuse and illicit trafficking.
He noted that his long-standing professional relationship with the State Commander has continued to generate effective collaboration and enhanced operational outcomes, highlighting the excellent transformations the Command has undergone under the leadership of Tijjani Rabe.
The event, which had several distinguished dignitaries, and senior officers of the command ended with photograph sessions.
