Africa-Press – Nigeria. Political commentator, Mahdi Shehu has criticized what he described as media bias following the discovery of over 100 corpses of organ harvest victims in southern Nigeria.
Posting on X on Monday, Shehu argued that if such a crime had occurred in the North, it would have attracted massive national and international attention.
“If this despicable act and crime was discovered anywhere in the North, the story would have been blown to high heaven. The incident would have been linked to Muslims, Islam, Hausa/Fulani, and soon the video would have been sent to Trump as ‘additional evidence,’” he said.
Shehu further lamented the lack of follow-up coverage, implying that regional loyalty influenced reporting.
“The beauty of it all is that you will never hear about the story again because ‘blood is thicker than water,’” he added.
