Africa-Press – Nigeria. Six persons have been reported dead as a trailer carrying sugar cane fell down at Amukpe roundabout in Sapele, Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State.
The incident occurred on Friday night of August 9, DAILY POST learnt.
The victims, who were waiting for transportation to Warri, died instantly..
Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe is yet to pick calls nor reply to text message sent to him for confirmation by our correspondent in Warri.
As of the time of filing this report, police operatives were seen trying to forestall any breakdown of law and order along the road.
