Africa-Press – Nigeria. Three people have been killed and several others abducted after armed bandits attacked Rane community in Dankadu ward of Bakura Local Government Area, Zamfara State.
The attackers, who reportedly rode into the community on motorcycles on Thursday night, also injured one resident before taking away many men and women.
The incident was contained in a post shared on X on Friday by security analyst Bakatsine.
“Yesterday night, armed bandits on motorcycles invaded the Rane community in Dankadu ward, Bakura LGA, Zamfara State. They killed three people, injured one person and abducted several residents both male and female during the invasion,” Bakatsine wrote.
Authorities have not yet issued an official statement on the attack.
