Africa-Press – Nigeria. Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, has returned to the squad ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations clash with Egypt.
Speaking with the press before their departure to Cameroon on Thursday morning, Musa said that Villarreal winger, Samuel Chukwueze is more dangerous than Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.
Musa said the Pharaohs should be worried about the danger posed by Chukwueze, adding that the Super Eagles are more experienced now than the last edition of the competition hosted by Egypt.
“Experience is going to help us a lot. In Egypt, we had only two players that had been in the AFCON, me and Kenneth Omeruo, and then we finished in the third position,” he said.
“Definitely, I know everybody will be talking about Salah but if you look at our own side we have a lot of players they would be worried about.
“They have to think about our own players. They only talk about Salah but we have Chukwueze, a lot of players from the wings that are more dangerous, so their own defenders too will be thinking about us.”
Musa had left the camp on Wednesday after losing a family member.
