Africa-Press – Nigeria. Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has disclosed the reason behind Mohamed Salah’s return to the club.
Salah, who is the Egypt national team captain, left the team’s camp at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Salah returned to the UK to continue medical treatments at Liverpool.
The 31-year-old winger picked up an injury during Egypt’s 2-2 draw with Ghana on Thursday.
“All parts agreed it makes sense that he does the rehab here; that’s what we are doing now. We have a season to play and we all want him fit,” said Klopp.
