Africa-Press – Nigeria. Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, has urged Nigerians to continue to support Eric Chelle’s men as they prepare to take on Ghana in a Unity Cup tie on Wednesday, in London.
The match will take place at the Gtech Community Stadium in Brentford, United Kingdom.
“Yeah, we know that a lot of Nigerians are, I would say, very disappointed in the Super Eagles,” Musa told the Super Eagles media team in London.
“But I will always call on them to just keep on supporting us because that is what we need right now.
“Their support will have a very big impact on us.”
Musa currently plays for Kano Pillars in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.
The 32-year-old is making a return to the national team after an extended absence.
“Yeah, for me, I am always happy whenever I get a call-up,” the former Leicester City star added.
