Africa-Press – Nigeria. Former Brazilian international, Ze Roberto, has backed Chelsea to beat Real Madrid when both teams clash in the Champions League semi-final second-leg tie at Stamford Bridge.
Roberto, a former Real Madrid and Bayern Munich star, believes Chelsea has the best defensive systems in Europe.
Recall that Chelsea played a 1-1 draw with Real Madrid in the first leg last week in Spain.
Thomas Tuchel’s side head to the game following a 2-0 win over Fulham in the Premier League last weekend.
“I think Chelsea have one of the best defensive systems in Europe, if not the best one,” Roberto told Goal.
“I like the way they’re playing, so I will bet on Chelsea for this one [to beat Real Madrid].”
The kick-off time for Chelsea vs Real Madrid is 8 pm.
