Africa-Press – Nigeria. The chairman of Nasarawa United, Isaac Danladi has hailed his team’s display in the 1-1 draw against Enyimba in Aba on Wednesday night.
The Solid Miners boosted their survival hopes with a solid display at the Enyimba International Stadium.
Chukwuemeka Obioma gave the People’s Elephant the lead from the spot on 14 minutes.
The visitors, however, levelled scores through Emmanuel Ogbole 16 minutes from time.
“My boys gave me joy with this draw. They fought hard all through the game and we deserve to get at least a point. This result is an important one for us as it will kick-start our survival,” Danladi said.
Nasarawa United remain in ninth position on the Group B table.
