Africa-Press – Nigeria. Former Manchester United player, Garth Crooks, has identified Thomas Tuchel as Chelsea’s best signing this year.
Tuchel joined Chelsea in January following the sacking of Frank Lampard.
The former Paris Saint-Germain manager helped the Blues to finish in the fourth position on the Premier League table last season and also won the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Super Cup.
Writing in his column for BBC Sport, Crooks said, “As for Chelsea, their best signing of the year wasn’t even playing.
“No, I am not talking about Romelu Lukaku, I am talking about manager Thomas Tuchel. He has been brilliant.”
Meanwhile, Chelsea are currently on top of the English Premier League table with 25 points from 10 games.
