Africa-Press – Nigeria. Manchester United legend, Gary Neville, has backed Manchester City to retain their Premier League title this season.
The new 2022/23 Premier League season will start on Friday night, with Crystal Palace taking on Arsenal.
Last season, Man City won the Premier League title ahead of Liverpool with a point.
But Neville believes Pep Guardiola’s side will win the English top-flight league title this season with many points.
Speaking on the Overlap (via Liverpool Echo), Neville said: “Last season, we had a title race, and I think Liverpool were at absolute breakneck, giving everything to hang in there until the end.
“Honestly, it would not surprise me this season, if they (Man City) do win it by a big amount of points.”
