Africa-Press – Nigeria. England manager Gareth Southgate has played down speculations linking him with the Manchester United job.
In the past week, Southgate has been in the news, as a potential replacement for Erik ten Hag.
However, speaking to the media ahead of Saturday’s friendly against Brazil, the 53-year-old insisted he was focused on the Three Lions.
“Man United links? They have a manager and it’d be extremely disrespectful to talks about that.
“I’m the England manager. I’ve got one job, to try and deliver a European championship. I have nothing to say,” Southgate said.
