Africa-Press – Nigeria. Kwara United goalkeeper Dele Aiyenugba is full of praise for Remo Stars Team B goalkeeper Daniel Aiyenugba for helping his team secure promotion to the Nigeria National League (NNL).
Remo Stars B, popularly called Beyond Limit, defeated First Bank 4-0 in one of the playoff matches in Nationwide League One at the Osogbo Township Stadium.
Daniel Aiyenugba, 14, the son of the former Super Eagles goalkeeper, played a crucial role in the club’s promotion success.
Aiyenugba is also optimistic that Daniel has a very bright future ahead of him with his heroic displays.
“It’s just God all through; Daniel was superb today as he made some impressive saves for his team,” he stated.
“I’m a proud father as he is boldly taking over the big gloves from me. With his display today, I’m very confident he has a bright future ahead of him,” he said.
Beyond Limit joined Osun United in gaining promotion to the Nigeria National League.
