Africa-Press – Nigeria. An official of the Nigeria Security Civil Defence Corp, DSC ML Shinwas, has warned oil thieves and pipeline vandals to pack their loads and live the Niger Delta region and other parts of the country for their own good.
He said,”If you’re caught, you will be dealt with it in line with the laws without mercy.”
DSC Shinwas handed down the warning at the 2nd day of the capacity building training for 100 personnels of NSCDC and TANTITA Security Services in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.
He said the NSCDC Commandant General, Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi has “Zero Tolerance” for oil thieves and pipeline vandals and as such would not condone their activities and excesses.
According to him,”That’s why you see there many deployments in this area. He will not tolerate it.
“This training that he allowed us to do shows critically that we are not going to relent in chasing pipeline vandals and oil thieves out everywhere. So,I am asking the pipeline vandals and oil thieves to pack their loads and leave.”
