NPFL: Dogo resigns as Wikki Tourists head coach

Africa-Press – Nigeria. Kabiru Dogo has resigned from his position as head coach of Nigeria Premier Football League club, Wikki Tourists.

He cited interference and lack of support from the club’s hierarchy as his main reason for quitting the post.

The gaffer came under severe criticism following Wikki Tourists’ poor start to the 2022/23 season.

The Bauchi-based club currently occupy the last position on the Group B table with just one point from four games.

Wikki Tourists were held to a 0-0 draw by Doma United in Dogo’s last game in charge of the club.

He guided Wikki Tourists to a 10th-place finish in the NPFL last season.
