Africa-Press – Nigeria. El-Kanemi Warriors have solicited for fans’ support ahead of their clash with Plateau United.
The Maiduguri club’s secretary Alhaji Bura Mustapha made the plea during a chat with the supporters at their base.
Mustapha urged the supporters to pray for the success of the team.
He also educated the fans on the rules of sportsmanship during and after games.
“We had an away draw in Enugu with no problem. We had an away win in Lafia with no problem, we therefore appeal to our fans to always accept the result of matches in good faith and calmness because of our genuine love and efforts to develop Elkanemi warriors and the game,” Mustapha told the supporters.
El-Kanemi Warriors will host Plateau United in a matchday four fixture at the El-Kanemi Stadium on Sunday.
