Africa-Press – Nigeria. Daniel Itodo, Jimmy Ambrose and Charles Henlong have been deemed surplus to requirements by Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side, Plateau United.

The trio are the longest serving players in the team.

They have made over 537 appearances for the Peace Boys.

Itodo and Ambrose won the NPFL title with Plateau United in 2017.

Plateau United are on a rebuilding process following the appointment of a new management team by the state government.

Plateau United recently appointed young tactician Shola Adegun as their new head coach.

Plateau United finished in seventh position in the 2024/25 season.
