Africa-Press – Nigeria. The Management of Wikki Tourist Football Club of Bauchi have urged the Interim Management Committee of the Nigeria Premier Football League to improve security at match venues.

The secretary of the Club, Adamu Idris Pali, disclosed this during a chat.

Pali pointed out that his team has been harassed by opposition fans in Aba and Akure this season.

“Though the league has improved, the IMC needs to work more on the security aspect,” Pali said.

“We were harrassed in Aba and Akure but nothing was done despite our complaint to the league body, so we need to get this right ahead of the second stanza,” he added.

Wikki Tourists are in eighth position on the Group B table, with eight points from nine matches.
