Africa-Press – Nigeria. Fulham defender Calvin Bassey has picked Galatasaray’s Victor Osimhen as a better striker than Manchester City’s Erling Haaland.
Bassey, who is an international teammate of Osimhen, described the Nigerian striker as incredible.
“Osimhen is better than Haaland, so he’s more difficult. Sorry Haaland,” Bassey said as quoted by Habersarikirmizi.
“Osimhen is incredible. What he has done for his country, what he has achieved in the Champions League, it’s truly incredible. He’s a lethal striker.
“I was happy and sad at the same time that he didn’t come to the Premier League. I think it would have been good for him. But yes, I’m glad I didn’t have to play against him.
“But he’s at a very big club now and he’s doing great things, he’s doing incredible things,” he said.
