Africa-Press – Nigeria. Rivers United returned to Nigeria on Tuesday following their ouster from the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Nigerian champions held their hosts Young Africans of Tanzania to a 0-0 draw at the Benjamin Nkapa Stadium, Dar es Salaam on Sunday.

Stanley Eguma’s side, however, exited the competition 2-0 aggregate.

The players and their officials touched down at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Lagos from Dar es Salaam on board Ethiopian Air at 12:43pm Nigerian time on Tiuesday.

The Pride of Rivers will now shift attention to their Federation Cup Round of 64 clash against four-time champions, Enyimba on Wednesday.

The encounter will hold at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
