Africa-Press – Nigeria. Marcelo has now agreed on a deal to join Olympiacos this season.
The former Real Madrid left-back who has been a free agent has signed a one-year contract with the Greek club.
This was confirmed by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano.
“Marcelo to Olympiacos, here we go! Full agreement completed — Real Madrid legend joins Greek side on a one-year deal, option for a further season.
“Marcelo has accepted — it will be signed and official soon,” Romano tweeted.
The Brazilian has been without a club since he left the LaLiga giants.
Marcelo was part of the Madrid team that won the Champions League five times, six league titles and four Club World Cups.
