Africa-Press – Nigeria. Paul Onuachu is closing in on a return to Turkish Super Lig giants, Trabzonspor reports.
Onuachu is looking to leave Southampton on a permanent transfer this summer following the Saints relegation from the Premier League.
Southampton and Trabzonspor are currently locked in negotiations over the Nigeria international’s transfer.
The tall striker spent the 2023/24 season on loan at Trabzonspor.
The striker scored 15 goals in 21 league appearances for the Black Sea Storm.
Trabzonspor were unable to sign him on a permanent deal last summer after failing to meet Southampton’s valuation.
