Africa-Press – Nigeria. The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu is currently in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
Sanwo-Olu was received by Governor Dapo Abiodun at the Presidential Lodge, Ibara Housing Estate, Abeokuta.
The Lagos State governor arrived the Gateway State at noon for a meeting with Abiodun.
The Senior Special Assistant to Gov Abiodun on New Media, Emmanuel Ojo, told DAILY POST correspondent that the meeting was “for the official launching of Lagos-Ogun Joint Development Commission.”
DAILY POST reports that Ogun is the only state sharing boundaries with Lagos.
Both Abiodun and Sanwo-Olu are members of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
