Africa-Press – Rwanda. Rwanda striker Arthur Gitego has signed for Moroccan Botola Pro League 1 club FUS Rabat on a free transfer from Mozambique’s Club Ferroviario da Beira.
Gitego, 23, inked a three-year-deal with the Moroccan side on Saturday, July 19, as he opens a new chapter of his career.
The Amavubi forward spent nine months at Beira where he scored 10 goals in 15 games in all competitions. He also had stints with AFC Leopards in Kenya.
Meanwhile, defensive midfielder Sanders Ngabo has joined Swedish top tier side BK Hacken on a two-year deal from AC Horsens for a fee of €1,000,000 (about Rwf1,7 billion).
Meanwhile, Rwandan youngster Samuel Sebagabo Niyigena has joined the football team of US-based Freed-Herdeman University from Apache.
Niyigena, 20, previously played for the U18 team of Derby County in England. Born to Rwandan parents in the Netherlands, the budding central midfielder grew up in England as eligible to play for all three nations at the international level.
Rwanda teenager Fils Jean de dieu Nsengiyumva has signed 2 years contract with Chilean 2nd League outfit Curico Unido.
Nsengiyumva, 18, will start from the youth team before progressing to the senior side.
The 1.87 meters central defender was born in the Chilean city of Linares on January 17, 2007 to Rwandan father and a Chilean mother. He previously featured for Ohiggins FC.
