Emma Okwi Joins Police FC After Standout Season

Africa-Press – Rwanda. Former Uganda Cranes skipper Emmanuel Arnold Okwi has joined Police FC following the expiry of his one-year contract with AS Kigali.

The 32-year-old netted nine goals and registered three assists for AS Kigali last season, and was a key player for the team.

He is an experienced player who has featured for various teams across Africa and beyond including Uganda’s SC Villa, Simba SC, Tanzania’s Young Africans, Tunisia’s Etoile Sportive du Sahel, and more.

In other transfer news, Rayon Sports is set to sign Yves Habimana from Rutsiro FC.

In addition, Rutsiro FC has parted ways with three players including Arnold Matumele Monzombo, Tythy Nguza Mambuma and Cedric Munyurangabo.

After releasing the trio, the team has strengthened its squad by signing three players: Godspower Arigo Obus, Gad Ndizeye, Kelvin Bizimana, and Djadari Maniragaba.
