AS Kigali defender Franklin Onyeabor says they have no other choice but to beat Police FC and dump them out of the 2024/25 Rwanda Peace Cup.
Police came from behind to beat the Citizens 2-1 in the first leg of the quarter finals where striker Elijah Ani coming from the bench to net the winner at Kigali Pele Stadium.
The two teams will square off at the same venue on Wednesday and Onyeabor says they have to turn the tie around in the second leg.
“We don’t have any option than to try and beat them. We did that against Etincelles and I believe we can possibly do that again,” Onyeabor told Times Sport
” It will be a great game. We beat them 1-0 in the League and they have also beaten us 2-1 in the Peace Cup quarterfinals first leg. We have to go all out and knock them out of the competition,” he said.
AS Kigali have all their arsenals fit and ready for the game while Police FC, on the other hand may welcome skipper Eric Nsabimana who missed the weekend league game against APR FC.
