Africa-Press – Rwanda. The mayor of Brava announced on Tuesday that the recreational activities and celebrations of the Municipality Day and the Patron Saint, celebrated on June 24, are being organized by private individuals with the support of the City Hall.
This information was announced to Inforpress by Francisco Tavares, explaining that the City Hall will make available 3 million escudos, of which 2 million escudos will be for the activities of the Municipality Day and one million escudos for the Patron Saint celebrations, remembering that the Flag this year is under City Hall responsibility.
According to the same source, the current situation is “very positive” for the island of Brava and even for the country, since the island can have again cultural, sporting, recreational activities for the celebrations of the Municipality Day and the Patron Saint.
“The São João’s Flag stayed with the City Hall that has already made the first contact with the Amisandjon Association so that they can head the organization of Patron Saint festivities and the City Hall with funding”, said the mayor.
