Africa-Press – Rwanda. Users of MTN Rwanda internet services decried disruptions on Wednesday, November 12.
The telecom company confirmed that its services were facing disruptions.
In a statement, it added that the disruption was caused by an outage on international links through Uganda and Tanzania.
“Our technical teams are working diligently to restore full connectivity as soon as possible. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused,” the company said on Wednesday.
In July, the telco was sanctioned tens of millions of Rwandan francs by the Rwanda Utilities Regulatory Authority over poor service levels.
