Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources, Dr Jean-Chrysostome Ngabitsinze, joined top officials from Heifer International, including Randi Hedin, Chairperson of Heifer Board of Directors, and Pierre Ferrari, president and CEO of Heifer International, in touring a new modern processing factory for Gicumbi farmers from the IAKIB Cooperative. The factory was built with support from Heifer International to boost milk production and the welfare of the farmers. The Rwf400 million factory was unveiled in Gicumbi District, Northern Province on Thursday, May 12. /
