Africa-Press – Rwanda. The Liberal Party (PL) on Friday, July 5, promised to increase access to clean water in Nyabihu, Rutsiro, and Rubavu districts if the party’s candidates win parliamentary seats.
The party made the pledge during its campaign activities in Gisenyi sector, Rubavu district.
Addressing a campaign rally at Nengo football pitch, PL President Donatille Mukabalisa said the party’s candidates will advocate for more clean water when they get seats in parliament.

She said: “There are various issues here that need to be advocated for Rubavu residents and their neighbours. There are problems with a lack of safe water and poor roads. Candidates will advocate for more good roads to support farmers in getting their harvests to the market,” she told The New Times.
“We will increase infrastructure; you need more paved roads, especially in rural areas,” Mukabaliza promised at a campaign rally.
