Africa-Press – Rwanda. Prince Charles and his wife Camilla arrived in Rwanda Tuesday evening, on June 22, ahead of the main sessions of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Kigali.
The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall on Wednesday were received by President Paul Kagame. Their royal highnesses visited the Kigali Genocide Memorial and lay a wreath in honour of the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. Prince Charles went to Bugesera for several engagements, including visits to Nyamata Genocide Memorial, as well as a reconciliation village in Mayange Sector and an agricultural project.
