Africa-Press – Rwanda. Flights to and from Kigali International Airport were delayed on Saturday, August 9, after heavy fog reduced visibility, RwandAir announced.
“Due to adverse weather conditions at Kigali International Airport, causing low visibility, flights to and from Kigali are currently delayed. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused,” the airline said in a statement shared on X.
Fog makes it hard for pilots and air traffic controllers to see runways, taxiways, and surrounding airspace. At airports, low visibility can force delays or cancellations until it is safe to operate.
