Africa-Press – Rwanda. The 2022 Africa Green Revolution Forum in Kigali was a success. The one-week summit that has drawn over 2,600 participants, took place in Kigali, from September 5 through 9. The AGRF summit is the world’s premier forum for African agriculture, bringing together stakeholders in the agricultural landscape to take practical actions and share lessons that are meant to move African agriculture forward. The high level summit was also celebrating individuals and institutions helping transform African food systems.
On the sidelines of the forum, two presidential events ” the 2022 Africa Food Prize Award Ceremony and the AGRF 2022 Gala Dinner ” were organized to recognize people who have played a tangible role in transforming African food systems.
This year’s summit was held under the theme “Grow, Nourish, Reward – Bold Actions for Resilient Food Systems”. It convened leaders from governments, businesses, civil society, and international organisations alongside innovators, financiers, experts, scientists, entrepreneurs, and youth.
