Africa-Press – Rwanda. On Thursday, August 14, 443 young Rwandans graduated from the 15th Itorero Indangamirwa at Nkumba National Ubutore Development Center in Burera District. The civic programme aims to instill cultural values, resilience, patriotism, and commitment to Rwanda’s long-term vision.

The cohort included students from the Rwandan diaspora, international schools in Rwanda, and youth representatives from all 30 districts. Aged between 18 and 25, graduates in uniform showcased military drills, reflecting readiness to contribute to the country’s development.

The ceremony was presided over by Prime Minister Justin Nsengiyumva, alongside Rwanda Defence Force Chief of Defence Staff Gen. Mubarakh Muganga and Minister of National Unity and Civic Engagement Jean Damascene Bizimana.

Over 45 days, participants engaged with Rwanda’s history, values, leadership, and civic responsibilities. Graduates pledged to serve as ambassadors of unity and national development.
